First time on this forum.
From France .
I've got a Remington revolver NEW Model ARMY 44 with serial Nr 50663 all parts except the barrel which has no Nr but a K lettre stamped.
I'm looking for confirmation about its year of fabrication. (1864 ??)

20000 approx of these guns were delivered to France for the French Army in 1871.
I wonder if the one I've got is one of them ?

All lights / remarks about this subjet are welcome
