I'm looking for a used but in solid, functional shape steel frame 1858 Remington New Model Army .44. One with a few cosmetic challenges would be fine as long as it hasn't been abused, the action is in time, locks up well, decent bore, chambers, nipples, etc. I prefer a later model Pietta but will consider all. I don't need a new one nor do I want to spend the $ for new.

Thanks.

I also have one listed. What I have done to it is noted and the half cock function works exactly as it should as does the cylinder lockup for firing.

I have a Pietta, bought it new less than 10 years ago, don't think I ever fired it, found a Uberti at a gun show that stole my heart. It looks unfired and in NIB condition. What were you looking to spend, if I may ask?
