Many years ago I purchased boxes of parts. I got a GPR barrel from one guy, a stock from another and found the rest of the parts at a local black powder gun shop in Marietta Ga. Well, I walked into the shop who has since moved up to Kennesaw and while bargaining for a 40 cal 42" Green Mountain barrel, I saw that 54 cal GPR that I built. It is not labeled a GPR because when I got done with it, it looked better.
I am trying to trade for it back. Guess I just want to keep it in the family. Still buying the 40 cal parts though. And then I saw the next rifle I will be making. 44" fowler, half stock, flint lock 20 ga.
Yeah, no looking back now.
