I am using 1F powder in an original 10ga. double for birds this year and find that the powder does not flow well from the powder flasks I have due to the size of the powder granules.
Does anyone have experience with the Hawksley powder flask heads as advertised by TOW and other vendors and 1F powder?

I used 1Fg in my brown bess before and it did flow slower, I ended up enlarging the opening to my powder horn and went to a hollowed out horn tip powder measurer and that helped.

I can't say I've ever used 1Fg powder, but I have an Hawksley-Sykes ("flameproof" :shocked2: ) flask that I really like. It's got an integral measure that's graduated in drams, and has always worked very well with 2Fg. (I use it with my 12 ga. SxS double.) It also seems to work well with the various fake powders I've tried over the years. I think it's money well spent.
