Well if it has already been previously polished, the same product you use to polish brass will work on nickel (German) silver.

if you are talking about a raw casting or one that is only at a 100 grit finish or so…that is a whole different can of worms.

I don’t know anything about BC firearms (but I’m learning) I do know much about metalworking. I have been doing and teaching jewelry making, silversmithing and pewtersmithing for decade. Well actually only taught for about 15 years.

A photo of the current condition (a closeup to where the level of polish is evident) would help to give you the proper answer/guidance.
