For the past year I have been shooting my Pedersoli Harper's Ferry flint pistol .58cal. I built it from a kit and I absolutely love its looks and balance. It is rifled but only has the brass blade front sight. I am constantly shooting high, trying to hit pop cans at 15ft is an exercise in frustration. Short of adding a non historically correct rear sight can you offer any advice on front sight only pistol shooting? My elevation control is all over the place.
