Blade is a Tan Central Texas chert.
This blade is hafted onto an Antler Tine with Red Sinew.
Flint Blades are made with Burlington Chert from Missouri. The primary color for Burlington is white, with a mixture or pink to make it interesting. The top knife has a Cholla Cactus handle. When the Cholla Cactus dries it makes an interesting looking wood. While the handle has natural holes it is very strong. The bottom knife handle is a White Tail Deer Antler with rosette base. Both knives are hafted with Red Sinew.
All Flint Blades in the above picture are made with Central Texas Flint. Color varies from dark gray, gray with red hue. Knives at the ends are hafted onto Antler handles. The knives in the middle have hand carved Osage Orange Handles.
