Finished up another gonne

I just finished up another gonne. 8 inch barrel .62 cal with a hand forged match holder attached. The tiller was an old rake handle that I found in the trash. Actions photos to follow.

Rifleshooter: Very nice workmanship. Did you turn and bore the barrel from round stock? What steel did you use? Please post when you shoot it!

It was a 2 inch diameter piece of 12L14 steel. Turned, machined the octagon then bored and reamed it to .625. Video to come soon.

Thanks. Not to stray into modern guns but the bren is deactivated. In a future project I'm. gonna convert it to semi. SOMEDAY.
