Edward Marshall transitional longrifle
from Christian's Springs, 54 caliber, purchased from Track of the Wolf quite a few years ago. Beautifully made. Need help identifying the maker. K G with a cross in between .Thanks in advance.

Yes it could very well be. Trying to find out if anyone has seen this mark regardless
 
It could be a long shot but as a part time blacksmith I have seen a lot of similar "touch marks" do a Google search, there are a lot of touch mark registries...you might get lucky. My guess is that it's the previous owners name.
 
Found the builder of this fine rifle. His name is Keith Groen, indeed sold thru Track of the Wolf in 2010. Found pictures of another he built - an Isaac Haines Lancaster sold thru Track in 2004.
