I just picked up a lightly used CVA Bobcat, .50cal, which my son will hopefully use for his first hunt this year. Seems ok so far, but had a scope at one time (not usable in Colorado) and an after market rear sight which is much higher than it should be (8" high at 100yds when bottomed out). I suspect that a higher rear sight was added so that it could be seen over the scope mount blocks. The sight is dovetailed.

Any idea where I could get a factory type replacement or other replacement?

Thanks.

Thanks. I didn't see any parts listed for the Bobcat originally, but will check with them to see if they have a replacement. I'll also look at Track the Wolf.

Here's the official word from the Customer Service Manager at CVA: "We no longer carry the sidelock parts. Call Deer Creek at 765-525-6181, they can help you."

I put a "Aim Point' from RMC Company. It works great and did not cost a lot. http://rmcsports.com/
