Here's my first post in this very interesting forum. I have a CVA "St. Louis Hawken" I received as a Christmas gift in 1994. I would like to replace its painfully non-authentic rear sight with something as similar as possible to what might have appeared on an original rifle back when they were commonly used. I'd sure appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance!

My son found me an old T/C Hawken kit and even though I had no knowledge of these I knew the rear sight looked wrong. I went with this from TOW. It's their long Hawken sight. I will pass along that I was warned that they can self adjust with recoil and although I haven't had a problem I haven't fired it much.
