Just bought a pair of colonial shoes from crazy crow. They are in left and right instead of straight last, but I would say looking them over they are as equally well made as my Fugawes high lows... that also came in right left.
You get what you pay for with crazy crow, but I can’t complain about the quality here.
They most likely come from China or India.

My high lows are Fugawi and very good. And my brogans are Ali Fugawi. Their shoes are tops. But I just got colonial shoes and they look as well done as the Fugawi sans being in pair instead of straight last. I’m sure the buckles are lower quality but don’t appear soft or cheap in any way.

After a cobbler backed out on making me a pair of simple, straightforward colonial New Spain slip on leather shoes, I had to get a pair of buckled latchet Leprechaun shoes instead. I got a pair on sale online from an outfit called "Military Uniform Supply." These are straight last shoes made of black leather with iron and brass shoe buckles and leather soles. Whoever readied them back on the "old country" where they were made had put inserts made from cookie boxes in them. These were a French-made food product, but everything was in Spanish. So my guess would be that these were made in Morocco? I had thought Pakistan or India initially?

I have a pair of hi lows I ordered from crazy crow for over a year now and have been very happy with them. I do believe I read some where their shoes were made in Mexico.
