Cherry stock Kibler SMR

I hope this loads. This is my cherry stock SMR I built at the kibler 6 day class at Bowling Green Ky back in June. Wayne Trout was our instructor. This was my first build. I learned a lot during that 6 days.

The stock seems to be darker in just a month.

Its a 36 cal. I named her " Miss Knot " because she has a knot on the side of the stock.

Tried and True oil. With a hint of red stain. But to be clear I am not complaining. She is pretty!!!

Looking good, and a timely post, I'm ordering a Cherry Woodsrunner kit next week, have plenty of maple & walnut rifles, time to integrate the safe a little more, have anymore pics? maybe closer to the wood to see the color better? thanx Beav

I'll have to keep the darkening in mind. My carved Cherry Woodsrunner shipped out yesterday. I've never done Cherry before.
