IMHO, Drums along the Mohawk 1940 is the best Rev War movie made.
 
Thanks for posting the revue with the trailer. I had never see it, but I have seen the movie dozens of times. I watch it every Thanksgiving -- it somehow seems appropriate. I also bought a 1937 edition of the book last year after someone on MLF recommended it, and the book was even better than the movie.
 
I'd say Last of the Mohicans, Rob Roy, Master and Commander, are pretty much some of my faves, But Clint Eastwood's Man with no name trilogy (the Good the Bad and the Ugly, Fist full of dollars, For a few dollars more) beats them all IMHO. :v
