So I got myself a Belgian dueling pistol a few days back and was wondering if anyone here could pin down a manufacturer. Also how would you guys would recommend going about shooting it or if I even should, as it's a damascus barrel. Its approx .69 caliber and appears to have been converted from flintlock to percussion at some point in its life. The only other thing I am worried about are the cracks on the left side near one of the screws and embossment (pictured near the end). Any help or info is appreciated.

You showed the Liege proof mark in a photo, half hidden by the stock. Of course, you knew that, but others might not recognize the mark - an oval with an E and then LG below the E.
Liege has an incredible history that is worth googling.
That's about all I can offer, except that that's a fine looking pistol.
