had excellent resuts at the range today with a .400 ball in my .40 and rarely hear of anyone using a .400 rb. most shot 395's any one else shoot .400? would love to hear the load you use with it.
 
i tried them, they loaded but not needed. they shot no better than .395 balls. when the explosion takes place the grooves fill with gas, that is all that is needed as long as the patch holds,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

in my 40 i ran a 403 ball and it shot lights out. won many a match with that rifle. shoot what works best and its not un common to shoot a bore size ball. i now shoot a 45 using a 451 ball as that shoots the best in my rifle. Good shooting
