I carry my precut round patches on a string as mentioned above, blow down the barrel after every shot, and use a spit patch. I have a coned muzzle and carry my balls in my pocket for a 10 or 20 round match. Every thing I do is wrong according to the experts but somehow I whipped them all at the last match even though I had a hole in the center of my patch from the string and use a coned muzzle. Didn't use a short starter in a 20 round match and I never lost count of how many shots I had fired. Nuff said!

Shooting at the range I keep pre lubed patches in one of the cci 100 rd .22 lr slide top boxes. Fits right into my range box. Haven't hunted with a mz gun in so long I can't remember how I kept them while hunting.
