Just thought I would share my method for cutting patches. I use a rotary fabric cutter, a ruler and a self healing mat. I used to use scissors but have found this method to be far superior. If the rotary cutter has a very sharp blade, I can cut up to 4 layers of fabric at the same time. I like to cut about 1” squares. I cut one direction, then line everything back up and cut the other. This is #40 drill cloth that I bought the other day. I was able to cut about 650 patches in about 45 minutes. Let me know what you think.

I like this, a lot less waste than the sharpened hole saw I have been using in the drill press.

I am going to give this a try.
