Have the kit which I’m finishing. Good spark, metal to wood good. Barrel seems quality steel and built well, just wish they took a bit more time and Precision drilling tensions which shouldn’t be a concern, just to my OCD. So far I think it’s going to be one of my favs.

Yep I have one. Great gun. Mine sparks like crazy and always goes boom. It’s easy on flints too.
Love mine...I shoot it at least weekly.

Great video , that sling kept swinging , not good for a steady hold and the band of thick leather from the sling must change your sight picture from shot to shot , Try it again without that swingy sling getting in the way .
I've shot that gun with the sling on & about as many times without it.
I bought it to make it easier to carry the gun to the shooting place.

Hmm, Interesting to see many saying they see decent sparks on theirs. I find mine doesn't give off a ton. Usually goes off, with 4f then there is not a problem, but with 3f from cartridges it doesn't always like to go off. Other than that I like the gun, nice and handy.

I spent my entire youth hunting on a farm in Zenith. Love Monroe county.
They are fine as hunting guns.
Mine was poorly finished, in that one of the ramrod tubes was barely pinned into the stock and tore itself free when I pulled out the ramrod. The hardening of the Frizzen was likely done late on a Friday afternoon as you can seen the line of hardness, and it's not right. The lock does spark though, and it shoots well. HATED the color case hardening as it's wrong for the flintlock trade gun.
OH and the lock sports a woodscrew retaining screw in addition to the lock bolt..., an odd feature of Pedersoli's but found on other stuff that they make
The ramrod was manure, not straight grained, and has to be replaced.
Yes the lock sometimes isn't well finished (imho) and rehardening of the frizzen is not uncommon.

That is a neat place, you feel like you have stepped back in time 60 years or so. The old mill over there is very interesting. I ride my motorcycle all over there exploring when the weather is warmer.
