Looking for a old T/C hawkens stock for 50 caliber. The older the better!
Also would T/C sell an unfinished stock? Does anyone know what one would cost from the factory?
Thanks,
Steve

In a conversation with one of the folks at TC a year ago, I recall them saying a complete stock assembly with furniture was over $300...but of course that's their MSRP.

Call TC's Fox Ridge, 800-243-4570, select option #3, ask for Rae DesRosiers...she should be able to help you get your answers.

Since you didn't mention a barrel, I'll mention this in case you're wanting to replace an existing TC stock that may have split or something...if that's the case, TC will completely replace it under their lifetime warranty, no charge...replaced two for me that way.

Thanks for the info roundball. I want just a plain stock, I am wanting to build a custom Hawkens by buying ready made components like a Green Mountain barrel, L&R lock, etc. Want this to like like a very early Hawkens with brown barrel and hdwr.

I believe that I saw a stock with all of the furniture that was a kit that the man never finished, on ebay. It should be what you want. It looked like it had dark wood. It was from the 80's I think. The stock and every thing looked like the furniture was still in their sealed bags and the stock did not have any finish applied. Don't remember what he said he did with the barrell.

Sorry, it's a 54 cal. But a 1" barrel would be more PC.

This one might be nice to play with.

Then you might want to consider Tiger Hunt...they make different levels of presentation grade replacement stocks for the TC Hawken, different types of wood, etc...finish it the way you want

I priced a new stock for a New Englander , last year, and it was $220. Have you tried www.auctionarms,com or www.gunbroker,com ?
