To me it looks like the sights just stuck in the barrel. Especially in the front hole I don't see any threads and the
back hole doesn't seem to be round. Could be a square hole. The safest thing to do is to remove the sights and look carefully.

I have a Spanish miquelet pistol with a very nice "magnetic" barrel. With spark hole and working lock.
I know that this pistol is also available with a barrel with proof marks. They were missing here for good reason.
The barrel was only made of cheap cast iron. The tail screw had no thread but a weld point that was already broken
and with one blow with my hammer the barrel broke into several pieces at the thickest point. That would have been a
nice hand grenade. So be careful with such junk. All reasonable replicas from companies, including the kits, have proof marks.
