You know... the spring loaded gizmo you put on the end of your ramrod to get consistent pressure each time when seating your bullet/ball. For years I thought about getting one but never did. Now that I'm turning back to my ML's again I'd like to pick one up. Of course I can't find one... mostly because I don't know what they really call it. Kinda hard to search for it without knowing the name.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Odd as it sounds, try google image search. If someone posted a picture of it and any of those words are in the page somewhere, it will come up.

'Course, you may have to scroll through lots of unrelated manure first...

Good luck...

A "Load setter gauge" according to patent info. Still looking... :applause:

Hmmm.... same principal, but not the item I was after. I was looking for the one that goes on your existing rod, like a palm saver.

If I remember correctly, there was a device on the market several years ago called the "Accupacker" that slid over the end of the loading rod.

Thanks guys. That's STILL not the one I'm thinking of  (though it's the same thing) but it's another one to look out for.
