I'm trying to locate a good PC tea. Would a simple mint green tea be appropriate?

All classes of tea come from the same plant (camellia sinensis). The different classes of tea (e.g. Black tea, Green tea, Oolong tea) are the result of differences in the tea manufacturing process, and not due to different types of tea plants. However, from experience, tea manufacturers have discovered that certain varieties, locations, and seasons tend to produce Camellia Sinesis (tea plants), which produce better qualities of certain classes of tea.
Of the three basic varieties (black, oolong, and green), I think black tea was the type most commonly found in the colonies.

IIRC, sassafrass was a major export in the early days of the English colonies. "Teas" were made from barks, leaves, flowers, and roots of a variety of plants (and for a variety of purposes, as well).

Huh, tea again, A-Z, we gotta stop meeting like this! :haha:
I agree with A-Z. I've seen merchant's notices that indicate black tea, but for the life of me, can't find 'em now to share.

I'll take a Bad PC Tea over a good PC Bea Any day!:applause:
If I don't laugh at my own jokes, then who will?
