Good to have or a waste of money?

They are making it into a combo tool, but do you use it? I can see the nipple wrench comming in handy...

I (when I had my T/C Renagade & Cherokee) just used the ball end of my short starter to pop the wedge back far enough to grab it with a little pressure on the pin side...

I guess if the pin didn't stick out far enough to push it from the other side, or if it's tighter than the gates of heck, then the wedge pin puller might come in handy...

But for me, I couldn't see spending the extra money... (untill arthritis set in, that is...)

Is this a practical tool or just another sales gimick to clutter up your possibles bag?

Back when I used to shoot my T/C all the time I used one just like in the picture. It might have even came with the gun I don't remember anyway I made a neckless out of it with a few beads on it and a patch knife. Don't know how many flatlanders wanted to know if it was some kind of Indian fetish or sacred symbol, of course we always had some kind of a answer for them. The device work well, it is a small hammer to start the wedge, the puller it self and a nipple wrench.
