Latly I have a craving for an underhammer rifle. Is there a source for parts for these guns or are they just a custom offering?

Deer Creek Products in Waldron, Indiana will have most of the parts to build an underhammer. You will have to get the barrel from someone like Long Hammock in Florida. I built one from parts from Deer Creek and he sent the action to Long Hammock for me and Long Hammock made the barrel, installed the plug type breach plug. The underhammer action requires a different type breach plug than a regular rifle. Long Hammock then sent the barreled action to me and I finished the build. They are great rifles and if you decide that you want a different caliber barrel, all you have to do is send Long Hammock the info on what kind of barrel you want and the precise measurements on your breach plug and they will send you a drop in barrel. Of course, you will have to install the sights on your new barrel and brown or blue it but once you have your new barrel ready to go, changing from one barrel to another is a very easy job.

They are very simple guns and an easy build.

Here are some photos. Mine looks like the first one in the upper left corner except mine is a right handed rifle. https://www.google.com/search?q=H&...HLKWp2gXsuoC4CQ&ved=0CFcQsAQ&biw=1600&bih=750
