I have the opportunity to buy a .32, he claims it’s a custom Tennessee rifle but looks identical to the DGW rifle. My question is what’s a reasonable price as a percussion rifle? It has some custom features to it like patch box and inlays, everything else looks stock.

Thanks

You know what you'd be willing to pay for it so, offer considerably less & haggle from there.

I don’t have any pictures… his asking price is $750. Which seems a little steep for a percussion, for that price I’m just shy of a kibler. I would be converting it to flint so would have to add the price for a L&R lock, that puts me at a grand.
I will probably let it sit for a couple months and see if he still has it and negotiate price from there.
