I think a big part of the attraction of smoothbores in their versatility. For example, shot for small to medium game and single ball for larger targets. Following the philosophy of versatility, why not develop effective loads for whatever components you can get your hands on? Pyro, T7 or holy black”¦develop a loading for each and you will never be short of powder for any shooting opportunity.
