I'm working on the trigger on my .40 build, the trigger is a Davis double set. How much clearance do I need between the sear and trigger levers? The leavers are pretty tall and I've been trying to sneak up it. I've already made the mistake of letting the inlet get long, I'll do better on the next one. LOL

Thanks, Justin

Inlets can get patched or filled back in to the point you don't even notice the patch. It's not a commonly / closely examined part of the gun. I would actually say the trigger plate is probably the LEAST examined part to the casual observer.

If you have a rattle or slack with your trigger (and it bothers you) that can be taken up with a very weak leaf or coil spring giving it some rearward pressure.
