anyone ever hear of this differnt way of sight?The back sight is cut down,,useing the front as to put the bull on top of the front sight.I was told that this was a old militarty way of sight,,anyone ever heard of this?I am asking becuse years back i mistakinly filed my back sight down to far,it shot low,,in fustration,i remembered the militaty way ,loaded back up put the bottom of the bull on top of my front sight,,dead center!what! so loaded again and shot ,same place,,when i took this squirrel hunting , aimed under the head,,dead squirrel in the head,,even took a deer in the head same sight,, but now that rifle has been sold and gone,,and this sight in came up when were were shootint saturday,,just wondered for any inf here on this as I was going to try on my new built .40 bucks county rife,,as weather permits,,, let me know ,,mickey
