It was another good morning in the woods for me. I hit him a little farther back than I wanted. Not sure if I flinched or if he jumped a bit, probably me! He was 15 yards and only went 30 yards after I hit him.

tell us about the rifle, what caliber is it? who built it and such,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
It’s a JP Gunstock, McCoy, in .45. Was probably built in the 80 or 90’s I think, they went out of business since. It’s got a green mountain barrel and a siler lock with a 42” swamped barrel. It’s nice and light. I like the fact it’s not pinned, barrel is held on through rr pipes. I didn’t realize that for the first dozen cleanings :)
