Does it have the QLA barrel? There was a couple of different rear sights and I prefer the flat type.

Quality of wood, figure or no figure?

As a point of reference I bought a Renegade kit in 1993 with a blued barrel for $170.

Since T/C Hawken factory rifles in good shape come up in sale for around $300 or more depending on where you live and time of year, I would think some where in the $225 range tops. Some folks want instant gratification and have no interest in putting a kit together or lack the talent to do so.

My thoughts, others may find higher value.

My dad had a pre-warning TC Hawken kit in his closet, my brother found it and offered it to me for free. My dad was 97 or so and had little money so I looked on gun broker to see what kits were going for and had my brother slip $300 into his bank account unknown to him.

This may have been a little high, the main thing to me was having an absolutely pristine barrel to work around which is rare in finished TC guns.

Finishing the gun was a challenge, the very old kits are anything but snap together and actually took some gunsmith skills to end up with a nice fit and finish on the parts. It could be that after having built a few scratch build flintlocks I wasn't satisfied a normal slopped together kit.

Even though you occasionally see one go for more, this is pretty accurate in my opinion.

One can ask any price. Posters were giving actual selling price range.

Your not going to find many for$ 225.List it for what you think it is worth, and interest will determine the value. But you will not get any takers at $700.

My guess is $375 - $450 plus shipping depending on the condition of the barrel, stock and parts.
A new Traditions Mountain Rifle .50 percussion kit cost $438.

Agree, $375.00 is fair and should sell
