Selling my 2021 TVM Tulle that has been converted for military use. Based-on a pic of an extant example. Front of stock cut down slightly. Bayonet lug added. Small lug added at front of trigger guard to hold a sling swivel (orignal may have used a french military trigger guard...who knows). The lock is the TOW Tulle lock and price includes a spare lock which I bought for spare parts in case supply issues became worse.
7.6lbs. 42" barrel. Upgraded walnut stock stained in dark walnut.

Musket is kept in the white and not browned. Includes smooth fitting bayonet and a bag of .55 balls. I only shot one bag of balls in rolled cartridges...mainly used for re-enactments for a year. Has a two point flash guard and hammerstall. The flashguard is held by the adapter frizzen screw from TOW. Comes with original screw also. I have some large un-expected expenses coming up and unfortunately need to sell. I live in Cincinnati for local pickup. $1400 plus shipping

I'm a thoroughly confused newbie. .55 in a .62 barrel??? Also, do I nitrate paper to make a cartridge?? Is this historically accurate with the alterations?
Again, I'm sorry for my confusion.

No, the cartridges aren't like pistol cartridges. They are paper tubes containing the ball (or balls if using buck and ball), with the powder charge then added, and the end folded over. To use, one tears open the folded end with their teeth, puts a bit of powder in the pan, then dumps the rest down the barrel. The paper tube and ball is then pushed in and rammed home with the rod. Using undersized balls ensures easier loading, especially when fouled, and does not greatly affect accuracy in traditional military settings.

Welded on lug for bayonet. Just like B Bess. That’s what was done to convert the barrel back then.

It's boxed for shipping already. Its just a square piece of metal just like the Brown Bess or Charleville. Bayonet slides right over and locks on.
