Didn't Dan'l use a long barreled smooth bore at the battle of blue licks or some such fight?
You are spot on ! I was just going yo say that .At the battle of blue licks Daniel was indeed carrying a smoothbore ... They went back over the battle field later , next day I think , and he was showing folks where he was by the impressions in the ground where he thumped his buttplate into the ground ...loading fast
