deer fire arm season tomorrow, son helped me sight in, 50 yds he doing 2.5in. i'm about 4 sitting supported he shot off hand 70yds. 3in. all and all good day we are new to sport.read all I could but missed part about nipple cleaning,nothing like ftf to learn, haha thanks to all who posted all the good info

Looks like you are within minute of deer with your rifle. Keep reading the posts here and you will learn plenty. Good luck with your hunt. I took my 45 TC Hawken out today and didn't see anything while on stand. On way back to house saw four deer down by my archery and rifle ranges.
Wife said I should have sat in the target shed.
