Shipping to Canada

I've been buying from Track of the Wolf for some time, but noticed their shipping costs to Canada have recently tripled (it costs more for shipping than the cost of the product). Any ideas why this is?

with TOW i keep a cart open, keep adding to it so i can maximise the amount of product in one shipment. but sometimes i forget something and have to pay the full shipping for a minimum product order. i can/t get the items i want in Canada.
my wife orders from other vendors in the US and thats just the way it is, costs have gone up.

I used to sell collectible items via the internet. I sold all over the world. Most transactions went well except those to Australia and Canada. Sometimes the item would never arrive and usually the package was damaged. Australia was the worst. I believe they open every piece of mail that comes into the country. I stopped shipping to those two places and still will not.
