Sheath for the pocket knife

Shoe leather from some old houseshoe moccasins is not the best by a long shot. (if it even is real leather?) I hate to throw away a good usable piece of anything so it's about time to make another sheath for the pocket knife. Nothing fancy but it saves wear and tear on the pockets.I've had that pocket knife (Shrade Walden) for over 50 years. Sentimental value, you know?

Yeah, that old sheath is getting worn out and I cringe everytime that knife hits the floor or ground. I haven't ever lost it yet,but...

that quarter by the knife gives you the idea how big it is

I guess old moccasins are worth something though my wife don't think so.

I just tore the other old

shoe apart and it appears to be man made material. But I'll go ahead with the project anyway.

This was an old house shoe a

couple of days ago. All it needs is the brass rivets.
