Need some of y,all's great advice and wisdom.

I have a CVA Express double barrel rifle in .50
Want to change the rear sight to something more traditional looking. Mounts with a single screw.

Looking forward to hearing your suggestions

Bill

Me and my buddy Jack Daniels spent some time searching the web lastnight hoping to see something I could make work. No luck.

Still hoping that someone here has an idea or solution

Thanks

Go into the smithy and forge yourself a buckhorn? Maybe get a small piece of metal and get busy with a file. Seems like a pretty simple task.. if possibly a lengthy one.

That's starting to look like the best option. Most rear sights are dovetail and that's not possible on this setup.

Thanks

Check out Track of the wolf. The Lancaster or Jagar sights. Many have a long decorative tail that lays on the top of the barrel. File off the dove tail, drill a screw hole countersink ,done
