level 1. so it,s just deciding on what color scheme one wants. I prefer the slightly distressed look.

That side plate is awesome. Did you do that?
Actually the kit came in the white. The stock was pretty well inletted . required some sanding. The side plate came with it that way already installed as well as the trigger and trigger guard and the lock as well. Did the browning solution on the barrel and did a cold brown on the lock as I did not want to take it apart to heat it. Will do some squib loads with it tonight until I get to the Range tomorrow. Stain was Minwax..I know some say dont use it....Special Walnut....rubbed out with Pumice, Steel wool , lemon oil and Bowling alley wax. brass was hit with gun blue to mustard it up. I like the look better than in the white.....
