Original Jaeger percussion rifle with DST..
From the best I can tell the bore is 58 caliber but it is in real poor shape.
As you can see in the pictures the patch box is missing.
I have had the gun apart and the fly is missing on the lock for the DST's
The barrel is approx. 29-1/2'' length, it is swamped being 1.150'' at the breech and 1.00'' at the muzzle.
I drilled out the old nipple, tapped the breech to 5/16-24 and installed a new nipple, I never did get around to shooting it so I can't attest as to whether or not it is safe to shoot. Bathroom scale weight is approx. 9lbs. I didn't measure LOP but can tonight if anyone wants to know.
Price is $500, OBO plus actual shipping. If I am too high in price for the condition of this rifle, please let me know. Personal check or money order is fine. Thank you
