I found this horn at a flea market several years ago and cut off the head and made a plug out of it it still needs a base plug but I wonder if it is to out of left field to even be a plausibility in the 18th century, it is some kind of Goat horn with a Peacock or some such Bird full length carved into one side of it, worth messing with or not? I just ran across it again yesterday when cleaning out some boxes of "stuff"

That makes sense it must be a carving of one of them Appalachian Pigeons
