Nipple wrench

What size cap does your nipple take?
If it takes a musket cap, it will require a nipple wrench usually used on a musket such as a Pedersoli Enfield rather than a nipple wrench for a standard rifle nipple using #11 caps.
You may have to widen the slot on one of your wrenches and dedicate it to your rifle. Or you may want to get a nipple that fits your wrench. You could grind down the sides of your nipple if all your rifles take the same sized nipple.

1/4 X 28, sage advice.
Cap size: Either #11 or musket cap.
Being 1/4-28 is good to know when the OP goes out to buy a replacement nipple for a #11 cap.

Try TOTW for a wrench. If it fits well, then purchase at least one or two more. Cheap insurance.
Measure the width of the nipple across the flats. Is that measurement much larger than the width across the flats of you other nipples? If it is much different, then I would replace the nipple or file down the flats of the oversized one.
