Hello all. Thanks for having me.

I'm not entirely new to muzzle loading. I have had an 1861 Colt repro for about 30 years, what a fun shooter. I love to share the joy of shooting it with my friends and make my own paper cartridges for it.

I'm finally going to go for another of my bucket list firearms, a flint long rifle. I have lurked for a bit but I have questions. What better way to learn than to hop in and ask questions, right?

My first firearm love is military surplus firearms gear and related item. A close second is building firearms from parts kits. I am also an avid reloader.

My goal here is to learn.
