I always wanted to try one of the flat-topped Frank James patterns and finally got around to it.

That is beautiful work. I'm new to leather work but am enjoying making a few things. Is there a pattern commercially available for a Slim Jim holster for the1860 Army?

Will Ghormley has produced all sorts of pattern packs but I've always drawn up my own Slim Jim patterns.
