Well, I have 6 or more other builds ahead of it (flintlock, 2 wheellocks and some matchlocks, all to be left-handed to boot!) ahead of it, so this will take some time to build, but here she is!

Ahhhhh, well at least what it will look like when built, as I just got a bunch of parts and a rough cut blank of wood. My plans are to do the build and take pictures all along the build process, but I won't be posting them here as I go, I'll wait until it's done or just about done. Then I will post a series for the:
  • Lock build
  • Stock build
  • 7-barrel set build
Woo hoo! Start your engines ... huzzah!

Only 12- 13 pounds ... the smoothbore barrels are only 20" long, but with a service load of 40-grains per barrel or a 240-grn charge ... going off at once!

If recoil is to much try 1F powder. The acceleration is slower so the recoil feels less.
