that stock is replacement from Dunlap Woodcrafters. Inletted undersized for tight fit. As pictured finished by Doc to 60 grit. Stock above was cut to carbine length . this photo shows the curl of wood pretty well. https://www.facebook.com/standtohorse/media_set?set=a.10215339887506358&type=3 Since Doc's speciality is "Hawkens" I call this my Hawken Mississippi. I do Living History at Bent's Old Fort in CO.
