I am someone who, learning by my mistakes, ‘messes’ with machinery rather than a machinist. I have offered to (try to) make a foresight for a friends Pedersoli Kuchenreuter. He, naturally, is reluctant to pay ten times the cost in postage of one from TOW. Can anyone tell me what angle cutter I need for the dovetail slot please?

You can get a file for it, I just run a dremol with a stone over one side. A good hack saw you can cut them out almost as fast as a miller, almost, ah sort of, well not very long any way.

Thank you, I think, between you, you and Lawrence have shown me the way to go.
