I think that is one beautiful looking package. A bit out of my price range. Now, to go and burn about a pound of FFFG with it. :idunno: :rotf:

AK Mike,
That is quite a package indeed. I looked at the 28 gun gallery and one thing struck me about the "Walker Colt". I was under the impression that the Walkers did not have a loading lever catch under the barrel. If you look at what they are calling the Walker there appears to be a catch. Was there more than one model Walker?

The original Walkers did not have that loading lever catch on them. To the best of my knowledge that includes all 1100 of them.

The Whitneyville Hartford Walker, sometimes called a "Transitional Walker" did incorporate a loading lever catch like the one shown.
It's possible that this is a Whitneyville or it was modified by a gunsmith for the civilian owner to incorporate the latch.

If it was a original Whitneyville Hartford Walker I'm sure they would have said something about it.

Zonie,
Thanks for the info. I just thought that these people are to astute to make a mistake that simple.
Mark

Interesting that it has the old style loading tool in there together with the new style loading lever on the gun.
