My interpretation of a shot pouch typical of those used to carry ball and shot during the French & Indian War. These were designed to wear on a belt, but oftentimes carried slung over the shoulder. Lemuel Lyman was carrying his over his shoulder when he was shot at Lake George. The ball slowed as it passed through his pouch, which he credited with helping save his life (and why it was kept as an heirloom and exists today.)

This one is of 3 piece construction: front, back/flap, and a divider, hand sewn and wet formed. The embossing is my design. We don't know how Lyman slung his, so I had to get creative with mine.
