Strange question, where can I find lower quality barrels? I know about Gm and a couple others that manufacture some VERY nice, accurate, HIGH quality barrels, for a price, lol. I'm working on a project that does not require high end, highly accurate, super nice barrels. I know companies like CVA, FIE, Traditions, etc do not use such high quality barrels as they would approach half the cost of the rifles themselves, I assume most of those companies make their own but is there a place a normal, non-industry person like myself can find them? Plain octagonal barrel blanks, rifled or smooth, no threads, no breach just a length of barrel that can be worked into what I want without destroying a $200 Gm barrel. For what it's worth, for this project I'm specifically looking for 7/8" Octagon barrels, one in .45 cal with 1 in 60 ish rifling and one in smoothbore as large as can be safely done inside the constraints of a 7/8 octagon. Just looking for a way to do this without having to buy up every sub $100 muzzleloader for parts on GunBroker to get it done.

Track of the Wolf may have what you want.

Nice call! Not EXACTLY what I'm looking for, BUT, they do sell used barrels that I can cut up if I can't find exactly what I want. They do have a boat load of cool stuff in their Misc category, lol, my favorite.
