This is a PC knife circa 1980-2007. This is for my brother's B-day coming up as he needed a new hunting knife. This first pic isn't that great, but the other two show the handle better.

The main reason I wanted to show this; this is my first attempt using vinegar stain. The stain is steel wool and apple vinegar, 3 coats, with about 6 or 7 coats of Chambers stock finish, finger rubbed.

Because of the shape of the blade the sheath turned out strange. Not sure I like it. But, if my bro does, great. If he doesn't, darn I guess I'll have to get out the leather and make a new one.

The tube for the lanyard hole is a .223 casing, so it isn't exactly purdy in appearance but I think gives it a little character.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks to all! I really like how the vinegar stain turned out. Now I gotta find something else to try it on. :hmm:
